SchoolNetUpgrade.co.uk is operated by Mediamerge Limited, working with Cheeky Munkey to provide information and support to schools interested in the Department for Education’s Connect the Classroom programme.

Mediamerge works with Cheeky Munkey to help eligible schools understand the Connect the Classroom programme and access specialist support for their network upgrade.

2. Information on this website

The information provided on SchoolNetUpgrade.co.uk is intended as general guidance about Connect the Classroom and school network upgrades.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information is accurate and current, but Department for Education guidance, funding arrangements and technical requirements may change.

Schools should refer to current DfE guidance and any information provided directly to them by the DfE when making decisions about eligibility, funding or procurement.

3. Department for Education

SchoolNetUpgrade.co.uk, Mediamerge Limited and Cheeky Munkey are independent organisations and are not part of, endorsed by or affiliated with the Department for Education.

The DfE determines which schools are eligible for Connect the Classroom funding and whether proposed projects meet its funding requirements.

Nothing on this website constitutes confirmation that a school is eligible for funding or that a particular proposal will receive DfE approval.

4. Enquiries

When you submit an enquiry through SchoolNetUpgrade.co.uk, Mediamerge may collect the information you provide and share relevant details with Cheeky Munkey so that they can contact you regarding your school's network requirements.

Submitting an enquiry does not create a contractual commitment to purchase services.

Any network survey, proposal, installation or other services provided by Cheeky Munkey will be subject to the terms agreed separately between Cheeky Munkey and the school or responsible body.

5. VideoLearning promotional offer

Qualifying schools completing a new Connect the Classroom upgrade with Cheeky Munkey through the SchoolNetUpgrade/Mediamerge collaboration may receive 12 months' free access to VideoLearning CPD, courtesy of Mediamerge.

The offer:

applies only to qualifying new Connect the Classroom projects introduced through SchoolNetUpgrade or Mediamerge;
does not apply retrospectively to completed projects, existing projects already in progress, or opportunities independently sourced by Cheeky Munkey;
is provided at no additional cost and has no cash alternative;
is non-transferable between organisations; and
will normally commence following completion of the qualifying installation and activation of the VideoLearning account.

Use of VideoLearning is subject to the applicable VideoLearning terms of use.

Mediamerge may amend or withdraw this promotional offer for future projects. This will not affect an offer that has already been confirmed in writing with a qualifying school.

6. Downloadable information

Guides and other resources available through this website are provided for general information only.

Although we aim to keep them current, schools should check the latest DfE guidance before relying on technical requirements, eligibility criteria, funding arrangements or deadlines.

Downloaded materials may be used for the school's internal, non-commercial purposes but may not be reproduced commercially without permission.
